|Long-blooming annual. Small, lance-shaped leaves are held close to the stem and are medium green. Brightly colored flowers are held in clusters on stems above the foliage. Excellent in the perennial border or rock garden.
'Petticoat' is a dwarf cultivar with small flowers, to 1/2 inch wide, that come as a mixture of cream and pink shades, some bicolors. Bloomtime is late but lasts over a long season. To 4 inches tall.
