| This is an erect, woody perennial usually grown as a houseplant. Thick, leathery leaves up to 10 inches long are ovate, with varigated coloring along veins. 'Andreanum' is a compact, bushy cultivar with yellow margined and veined, coppery leaves that turn reddish orange when mature. Grows 3 feet tall and 24 inches wide. Exposure to bright light intensifies colors. Summer borne, white flowers are small, to 1/4 inch wide. |
