| Spreading, suckering, deciduous shrub or small tree with ovate or broadly ovate, medium green, 2 to 5 inch long leaves. Highly fragrant flowers are densely held in 4 to 8 inch long, showy, conical panicles from late spring to early summer. Provides glorious cut flowers. Regular mulching is recommended. Deadhead flowers just after fading and remove suckers to maintain desired form. |
