| Compact and rounded, vigorous, evergreen shrub reaching up to 10 inches in height and width. Masses of clear pink, globe or urn-shaped flowers form at branch tips in spring. Leaves are gray-green, pointed and leathery, 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches long, and look similar to rosemary leaves. Excellent for rock gardens, borders or ground cover. Likes moist, acidic soil. In drier sites, apply a good layer of mulch each spring. |
