| This plant can adapt and grow on a variety of surfaces such as the forest floor between rocks at the dunes at the coast. The slim funnel rosette is formed by the twenty-something flat, green leaves growing up to 3 feet tall with rose tints at the base. The lepidote rose violet shaded leaves support an erect, white scale covered scape with rose bracts also covered in scales. The 4-inch inflorescence is cylindrical and bears up to 100 white scaly flowers with rose colored sepals and yellow petals. |
