| Primula allionii is a rosette-forming, evergreen perennial with inversely lance-shaped, gray-green leaves, to 2 inches long. Very early in the season, bears solitary, salverform flowers, to 1 1/4 inches wide, in shades from white to pink to reddish purple, each with a white eye. Lime loving; grow under glass in an alpine house or frame. 3 to 4 inches tall, to 8 inches wide. |
