| The cultivar, 'Fastigiata' rarely reaches more than fifteen feet in height and width.
c. harringtoniana is a coniferous shrub that has narrow, pointed leaves that are dark green,
1 1/2 - 2 inches long and attached to shots, forming a V. The form is spreading and squat,
though some cultivars may grow to 30 inches tall. Width ranges from 5-10 feet. A wonder shrub in that it is tolerant of heat, humidity, shade, and even wet soils. Female plants develop small, plum-like fruit, thus the name. |
