| Neprholepis cordifolia is a sword fern which can be grown as an indoor plant, or outside in areas with no heavy frosts. Indoor plants require well drained soil, and monthly application of fertilizer, indirect strong light. Leaf fronds are upright, bright green, 2 to 3 feet high, with finely toothed leaflets. Spreads by runners, and can be invasive in some climates, but can also be an effective groundcover. They tolerate poor soil and inconsistent watering. Shade tolerant.
