| This is a widely columnar deciduous tree grown for its ornamental leaves, great red fall color, and attractive fruits. Grows to 25 feet tall and wide. Leaves are deep blue-green, pinnate, to 6 inches long, with up to 15 ovate leaflets. White flowers are borne in pyramidal corymbs to 5 inches across, followed by round, red berries. This hardy tree can tolerate heat or cold, strong winds and low humidity. Must have good drainage. Resistant to fireblight. Native to China. |
