| Caffrum is a succulent, deciduous perennial with thick, tuberous, cauden-like rootstok; short, upright stems, lance-shaped, linear or oval, mid-green leaves. Produces single, cup-shaped pale lemon-yellow flowers. In general, this group of plants is made up of annuals, biennials, and perennials. Leaves are often succulent and deciduous, but may be semi-evergreen. Flowers are showy and saucer-shaped, borne in cymes or panicles. These relatively short-lived plants require well-drained soil that has either poor or moderate fertility, and full sun. |
