( Cotoneaster )
| Cotoneaster can be either deciduous, semi-evergreen or evergreen shrubs depending on climate. Some are low growing groundcovers, others tall upright shrubs. They are quite tolerant of poor soil and drought, and will thrive with little maintenance. Flowers are tiny pink or white blooms, abundantly produced in spring. Berries are red to orange, ripen in the fall and persist into winter. Prune to shape, and remove dead wood. |
