| Tall, columnar evergreen reaching heights of 30' to 70' and widths of 10' to 20'. Abies forrestii has an open habit when young, becoming more dense with age. Bark is smooth and silvery. Ideal speciman for background in narrow spaces. Needles are dark green with silver underneath and arranged radially around the shoots. Cones are cylindrical and blueish in color before ripening to brown and releasing seeds. |
