| Acer crataegifolium is a deciduous tree with a spreading habit, with arching branches and green and white streaked bark. Green leaves to 3 inches long are egg-shaped and shallowly 3 lobed with toothed edges that turns orange in the autumn. In upright racemes, pale yellow flowers bloom. The cultivar, 'Veitchii' has leaves that are spotted with white and at times, pink turning pink and purple in the autumn. |
