| Tall, columnar evergreen reaching heights of 50 to 70 feet and widths of 12 to 20 feet. Ideal speciman for background in narrow spaces. Needles are grayish green to blue with silver bands underneath. Cones are cylindrical with protruding bracts, and violet in color before ripening to brown and releasing seeds.
Performs best when given partial shade and ample water in well drained soil, but tolerates dry, alkaline conditions. |
