|An epiphytic orchid, with one elliptic leaf, (5 to 10 inches) and a spherical pseudobulb. Four foot jointed racemes produce the unusual, butterfly or insect-like flowers (to 6 inches across). Should be grown epiphytically on slabs of bark or cork. Not suited for containers. Requires full light, high humidity and light watering. Feed weekly, and mist instead of water, in summer.
