| Named for its deep lavender to lilac flower panicles with orange eyes. Spreading deciduous shrub grown for its long clusters of ruffled and fringed, fragrant flowers throughout the summer. Graceful, arching branches bear pointed silvery-green leaves to 10 inches long. Reaches up to 10 feet tall and about 15 feet wide. Ideal for attracting butterflies. Combines well with other perennials, especially daylilies and shasta daisies. This is one plant that thrives on severe pruning. |
