| C. x cyprius (C. ladanifer x C. larifolius) is a dense evergreen shrub with sticky, forest green leaves. White flowers with yellow and scarlet "thumb-prints" at the base of each petal are borne in terminal cymes and last only a day but are replenished with new ones the next. Very nice in borders, along pathways, or at the base of walls. They will thrive in poor soil but not in colder climates. |
