| Phlox douglasii is a mounding, evergreen perennial that is densely covered with stiff, slender, lance-shaped, small, dark green leaves. Produces small, salverform, white, lavender-blue, or pink flowers, borne either singly or in twos or threes, from late spring to early summer.
'Violet Queen' bears deep purple flowers and is more compact than the species. To 4 inches tall, 6 inches wide. |
