| Often sold as Chrysanthemum leucanthemum. A clump-forming perennial with obovate spoon shaped, toothed, dark green leaves. Solitary flowerheads 1 to 2 inches across with yellow disc florets and white ray florets. They bloom in late spring and early summer. Tolerant of many soils, but do require water in hot, sunny climates. Divide clumps every 2 years or establish plants from seed. Remove and discard spent flowers to prolong bloom period. |
