| U. sessifolia is a rhizomatous perennial with smooth stems, oblong-lance-shaped, stalkless bright yellow-green leaves. Pale green to gray-green underneath. Produces pendent, single or paired, bell-shaped yellow flowers with warty petals. In general, these woodland perennials, native to Eastern North America, have pendant yellow flower from mid to late spring. A nice addition to the shade or woodland garden as long as soil in fertile, moist, and well-drained. |
