| Sorbus cashmiriana is a medium sized tree with a conical crown, reaching 20 to 40 feet. Leaves are compound pinnate, rich green above and gray green and downy on the underside. Pinkish white flowers 3/4 inches in diameter, are borne in mid spring. Fall foliage is a nice red. Fruits of 'Carpet of Gold' are golden yellow, round berries. This species has been crossed with S.aucuparia with many resulting cultivars. Native to Himalayas. |
