| The large shrub has an open uncontrolled habit with smooth edged, shiny, oval, green leaves. They grow to 5 to 7 inches in length and 1 1/2-2 inches in width. The tight truss holds 15 to 20 small, upfacing flowers.
Native to Europe. The best known of the Rhododendrons. Used as backgrounds in quite a large number of British parks. This plant can be grown by seed and easily propagated by cuttings. |
