Ulmus procera
( English Elm )
| Ulmus procera is a large elm, with an umbrella shape, densely branching, and bark that is finely fissured, dark brown. This is another elm that has been ravaged by Dutch Elm Disease. Some believe that this is not truly a species and should be placed under the U. x hollandica group. It is produced by suckers, and is completely sterile. |
