| V. delavayi is a deciduous, spreading shrub with oval-shaped, glossy dark-green leaves, red tinged when young. Very small creamy white, pink-flushed urn-shaped flowers are borne in axillary and terminal racemes.
Followed by delicious, edible, deep red fruit. Usually grown for it's sweet fruit, can also be utilized in a mixed shrub border or woodland garden. This plant loves acid soil. |
