| Primula aurantiaca is a small, deciduous Candelabra perennial with inversely lance-shaped to obovate, finely serrate, deep green leaves, to 8 inches long. In early and midseason, red-tinted stalks bear 2 to 6 whorls of 6 to 12 salverform, brilliant red-orange flowers, 1/2 inch wide. Partial shade in humus-rich soil, tolerates full sun if soil is kept moist. 12 inches tall, 16 inches wide. |
