| Nerine is a genus of flowering bulbs, which can be grown outdoors in mild climates, but are mostly indoor or greenhouse bulbs. They require partial shade to full sun, and regular moisture. The flowers are funnel shaped, segmented, with tips that curve inwards, blooming in late summer or fall. Basal leaves are strap-like, up to 1 foot long. Outdoors, plant 3 inches deep, in moist well drained soil and leave undisturbed. Usually long lasting as a cut flower or as a pot plant. |
