Yes, I have successfully propogated this plant both from natural division of the bulb, and by seed. The seem method was not intentional, but the vines happened to be over other pots, and I had half a dozen grow from seed. At first, they looked like grass type weeds with only a couple of thin green shoots, but later they developed the bulb, and began to resemble a small green onion about the size of a large pea. In a year, they were golf ball size and larger.
