In the past I have always added 3 to 5 yards of compost/manure to a 900sq. ft. patch This year I planted a cover crop of Hairy Vetch, Buckwheat, and Winter Rye. Can I expect any appriciable amount of growth from the cover crop as it has been buried in snow since mid October?
