To do so in Florida with your horrid soil and brutal summers of daily 97 degree temps and afternoon monsoons is impossible...I moved from Michigan to Florida in 1971, and by 1974 I gave up on my beloved hobby of pumpkins. In 1986 my wife and I moved to Myrtle Beach, SC and I've had only a little success. I guess we in the south, who are former Yankees, just have to enjoy the beaches, tropical birds and plants and the beautiful winters. Guy
