: Hello,
: If the plant seeping stem fluid isn't one of your better plants, I'd get rid of it. It sounds like something I've read about called "bacterial wilt" that is incurable.

: : This is first year w/AG and am having possible problem w/one pumpkin. The stem seems to be seeping fluid and is soft in spots, like it has split open. All other plants are ok. Have had large amount of rain in past two weeks and sweltering heat. Any one know the cause?? Will other pumpkins be effected, is this one doomed??. Thanks for any help!

Of course, it's my best pumpkin, have put fungicide on stem as last resort and seeping has stopped, but who knows with these AG's. Fruit itself seems in great condition, wish me luck
