I got a 6dollar seed from howard dills seed sale. it was a 948 lb. hebb. I did all the stuff they tell you to do 9seaweed, compost, and thye tent to shade it. i have grown ags for many years from the garden stores, and got big ones, but nothin like this one.in toledo ohio in late august, it is huge, but i dont want to disturb it to estimate the weight, afraid of scratching it or busting a vine or something. I only go near it to keep it sprayed. no bugs, fungus or any problems im so proud of it cant wait to take the tent off maybe it will cause traffic tie ups or something.i posted a sign in the garden NO CELL PHONES WIYHIN 50 FEET OF THE PUMPKIN I thought maybe radiation would be bad for it just like solar radiation ( just did it for a joke im known as the pumpkin gEEk around here. I self pollinated it(used cheesecloth to protect it from other pollen if the bees beat me to it in the morning. I would be glad to send you seed from this one in the fall. im planting this seed 2003. let me know where to send it Good luck Kathy
