Rosa banksiae ( ‘Lutea’ Lady Banks Rose )

If you are a lover of roses, but are turned off by the work required to maintain your average rose, the lady banks rose may be just what you are looking for. Having little to no pest or disease problems, the ‘Lutea’ Lady Banks Rose is a glossy foliaged rose that is virtually thornless and is literally covered with double yellow flowers in spring. This rose requires a sheltered wall which protects it from cold. It can be heavenly trained over arbors or trellises. This vine makes a wonderful large-scale ground cover too. Prune only spent wood on this rose.
