Close to an Old Rose, both in flower and
leaf. The flower is of an attractive and precisely formal, shallowly cupped
shape, with an outer ring of petals enclosing neatly inter-twined petals.
The colour is soft pink with a lighter reverse. Vigorous and upright. Good
disease resistance. A light and fruity Old Rose fragrance. 5 ft. X 3 ft. (8 ft. as climber)
Named after Thomas Hardy's character in the book of the same name.
