A semi-double rose that opens flat to expose a large bunch of golden stamens. Its name arises out of its similarity to 'Officinalis' (The Apothecary's Rose): the difference is that The Herbalist is repeat-flowering. The colour is light crimson, varying to dark pink. A strong and reliable rose of broad, bushy habit and typical Old Rose character. An ideal border plant. Only a slight fragrance. 3 ft. x 3 ft.
