Half-hardy Annual
- Flowers: Early Summer
- Height: 15 inches
- Position: Full Sun
- Germination: Easy
- Aftercare: Easy
Description: Shimmering white and salmon jewel like blossoms yet dwarf and very early flowering. A very long flowering annual excellent for both containers and border, and its more upright, though dwarf, habit is a useful foil for many of the compact annuals of today. Flowers summer. Height 30-38cm (12-15in).
Sowing Instructions: Sow in early spring on the surface of a good free draining seed compost. Make sure the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 2-3 weeks at 18-25C (65-75F). Do not exclude light which is beneficial to germination.
Growing Instructions: Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart in a sunny spot in ordinary garden soil.
