Description: A carefully blended mixture of many of the named forms of the pampas grass. All perfectly hardy, it will include shaggy plumes, feathery plumes, cloudy plumes, compact and tall with colours in silvery and golden and exquisite pink shades.
Sowing Instructions: Sow on the surface of the compost from late winter to early summer in John Innes Seed Compost. Make sure that the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 30-60 days at 15-24C (60-75F). Do not exclude light which is beneficial to germination.
Growing Instructions: Transplant when large enough to handle into 8cm (3in) pots. Later plant out 1.5-2m (5-6ft) apart into well drained fertile soil in a sheltered sunny spot.
