Description: An exciting new colour in container Verbenas, plants are clothed throughout summer in rich lavender blue flowers. Half Hardy Annual; Excellent for containers; Sow February to April; Prefers well drained, moist soils in full sun; Flowers early summer; Spread up to 36cm (18in)
Sowing Instructions: Germinate at 15-20C (64-68F) in trays on the surface of a good free draining, slightly dry, seed compost. Apply a very fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 15-21 days. Once seedlings have emerged, water as required.
Growing Instructions: Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclimatise to cooler conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30-45cm (12-18in) apart, or grow on in 7.5cm (3in) pots and plant into baskets or containers when well rooted.
