- Cropping: Harvest through from July to November.
Description: A hybrid 'Tah Tsai' with an attractive rosette of glossy, savoyed, spoon shaped, dark green leaves with juicy white petioles. Excellent used as a 'baby leaf in salads, stir fries or as a steamed vegetable. Quick to mature in 6-7 weeks from sowing. Best sown the end of May to early September.
Sowing Instructions: Sowing Time: May to September. Sow thinly, 1cm (1/2in) deep in drills 23cm (9in) apart in well-drained, fertile soil, which has been raked to a fine tilth that has plenty of well-rotted compost or organic matter incorporated.
Growing Instructions: Thin out seedlings to 23cm (9in) apart, but can also be left to be harvested as a 'cut and come again' crop. Water ground regularly, especially in dry periods.
