Description: A very special blend of Pansies all with dark face; some are pastels, some picotee and others are rich, deep colours -plus others in between! Wonderful underplanting white Tulips for a classic and magical spring display.
Sowing Instructions: Germinate at 15-20C (60-68F) on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a fine sprinkling of vermiculite, just covering the seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-15 days. Take care not to provide too high a temperature, as this can prevent germination. Summer sowings should be moved to a coldframe and planted out in early spring.
Growing Instructions: Transplant seedlings, when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots in cooler conditions for 10-15 days before planting out. Plant outside after all risk of frost, 23-30cm (9-12in) apart.
