Description: A highly attractive foliage specimen for your borders. The amazing swards of this ornamental corn are boldly striped with varying hints of cream and blush. Provides an excellent foil for both bold colours, as well as delicate, pastel tones.
Not edible - only to be used for ornamental purposes.
Sowing Instructions: Germinate at 20-30C (68-86F) in 7.5cm (3in) pots of good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a layer of compost, 1cm (½in) deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which takes 7-10 days. Do not exclude light at any stage, as this helps germination.
Growing Instructions: After all risk of frost has passed, plant out 45cm (18in) apart, in blocks, to aid pollination.
Aftercare Instructions: Water regularly, especially as silk tassels begin to form on the cobs. Harvest when casing is papery and dry, then continue drying in a warm, dry position indoors.
