Description: Towering but sturdy spires, excellent for border or focal point plantings.
Sowing Instructions: Sowing Time: February to July. Germination can be slow. After sowing, seal the seed container in a polythene bag and leave at 75-80F (25-27C) for 5-6 weeks, then transfer to a refrigerator (not freezer) for 3 months before returning to warmth. If the seeds show signs of germinating while in the fridge, remove immediately.
Growing Instructions: Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in a cold frame and plant out the following spring. Space the plants 90cm (3ft) apart in full sun.
Aftercare Instructions: Prefers a well drained soil.
