Description
Improved breeding in delicious, crunchy tennis-ball sized mini Icebergs. Plants have a compact habit with very few wasted outer leaves and produce a dense, crunchy delicious ‘meal for one’ from a single heart. Stands well in good condition for long periods if watered regularly.

Ideal for spring or summer sowings. Sow direct early spring, as soon as ground is workable.
Sow thinly at regular intervals 12mm (½in) deep in drills 38cm (15in) apart.
Growing Instructions
Thin seedlings to 20cm (8in) apart when large enough to handle.
Aftercare Instructions
Water well during dry periods.
Kitchen Notes
The crunchy texture of this variety makes it ideal for use in mixed salads. Cut heads can keep for up to 2 weeks in a refrigerator.
The dark green leaves of lettuce are a good source of beta-carotene and Vitamin A.
