Description Glowing orange, beautifully quilled Cactus-Dahlia shaped blooms magnificent for cutting and border, flowering well even in the poorest conditions. Flowers all summer. Height 18-20in. Sowing Instructions | Sowing time: | sow indoors spring 6-8 weeks before last frost or sow outdoors early spring or late autumn zones 3-7; fall only zones 8-10 | | Sowing depth: | 1cm (½in) deep in rows 30cm (12in) apart. | Best sown 1/2 in deep where they are to flower Sow in well cultivated soil which has been well raked. Growing Instructions Thin out the seedlings to 23cm (9in) apart. They will grow in sun or part shade and in the poorest of soil. For winter/early spring flowering, pot plants in a cool greenhouse or conservatory, sow in late summer/early autumn.
