Description
Experience one of the earliest pickings of the season with 'Sunset', a unique variety with unusual, salmon-pink blooms, producing crops of short, tasty beans. Extremely decorative and suitable for adding color to any corner of the garden. Ornamental and attractive; perfect for wigwams. Flowers require pollination to set pods.

Sow mid April indoors for transplanting in short season areas only Sow in 7.5cm (3in) pots at 18-20C (64-68F), 4cm (11/2in) deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a plastic bag until after germination which takes 7-10 days. IN all other areas, shoudl be sown direct outdoors once the soil has warmed, 15cm (6in) apart, 5cm (2in) deep and in rows 45cm (18in) apart. For even earlier crops, this variety can be pinched out and grown as a low bush bean.
Growing Instructions
Growing instructions If sown indoors, gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 7-10 days before planting out after all risk of frost, against support such as canes or netting. Flowers require pollination to set pods, unlike pole or snap beans.
Aftercare Instructions
Prefers well drained, moist, rich soil. Hoe regularly and keep plants well watered. Mulch during dry periods.
