Description

Dwarf bushy dahlias with delightful 'collarette' form, in many shades of red, yellow, orange and white all with white matching or contrasting inner collar of quilled petals.

Sowing Instructions

Sowing time:Indoors 8-10 weeks before last spring frost
Sowing depth:sow 6mm (¼in)

Sow at 21-24C (70-75F) in a good seed sowing mix. Keep soil damp but not wet, sealing in a plastic bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 7-10 days.

Growing Instructions

When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Transplant all the seedlings as certain colours tend to be stronger than others. Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 30x46cm (12x18in) apart in a sunny spot on any good moisture retentive soil.
