Sowing Instructions

Sow in a good free draining seed sowing mix. Seal in a plastic bag or cover with a piece of glass. Germination usually takes 3-21 days at a soil temperature of 21-24C (70-75F). Low and fluctuating soil temperatures may cause the seed to take much longer to germinate.

Growing Instructions

Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots, move to 8-10cm (3-4in) pots 5-6 weeks after sowing and liquid feed regularly commencing 3-4 weeks after final potting. Provide a temperature of 7C (45F) through the winter for autumn sown plants. Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost 30cm (12in) apart in a sunny spot.

Aftercare Instructions

Fertilize monthly, water when soil becomes dry and deadhead regularly to keep plants blooming well.
