Sowing Instructions
| Sowing time: | from late winter. |
Sow 16-18c (61-64F) on the surface of a good seed compost and seal in a polythene bag or cover with glass until after germination which usually takes 15-20 days. Do not exclude light.
Growing Instructions
Transplant when large enough to handle and grow in cooler conditions. As they are tiny they can be transplanted in small clumps of 3 or 4. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risks of frost, 15cm (6 inches) apart.
Aftercare Instructions
Prefers rich moist soil in a sheltered spot and in partial shade. Can also be grown in the greenhouse as an excellent flowering pot plant.
Caution
All parts are poisonous.
