Description For something completely different, try this very distinctive Petunia. The large, wavy yellow blooms, washed over with soft pink, are compact and free flowering throughout the summer in borders or containers. Sowing Instructions | Sowing time: | Indoors, late winter to mid spring, at least 8-10 weeks before last spring frost | Sow at 21-27C (70-80F) on the surface of a good seed sowing mix and keep damp, not wet. Do not exclude light, sealing in a plastic bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 10-21 days. Growing Instructions When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart in a sunny spot on ordinary, well drained soil. For hanging baskets, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots, later plant up and allow 2-3 weeks to become established before hanging outside.
