Description
T&M own breeding. At last! Variegated climbing Nasturtiums. Available in a balanced mixture of yellows, reds, creams and peach/pinks with foliage which is attractively marbled and striped with cream, against a light green background. They make fantastic, dramatic container and basket plants or simply use them for effective ground cover. They also look good trailing and climbing over conifers, hedges and short walls. Flowers summer. Climber.
Sowing Instructions

Sow outdoors where they are to flower, when the ground becomes workable. Sow in rows 30cm (12in) apart and thin out to 60cm (24in) between plants.
For earlier flowering or for containers, sow in early spring at 13-16C (55-60F) and transplant into 7.5cm (3in) pots.
Growing Instructions
Thin out young plants to 30-45cm (12-18in) apart when the seedlings are large enough to handle. If sown indoors, gradually acclimate to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost. They flower most freely in full sun and poor dryish soils. Before planting in containers make sure they are well rooted in their pots.
Kitchen Notes
The leaves taste like watercress, the flowers add a spicy touch to salads and the green seeds can be chopped and used with parsley as a garnish or made into a substitute for capers.
