Outdoor sowings should be made in a well-prepared seed bed in drills 12mm (½in) deep, spaced 30cm (12in) apart and the seedlings transplanted to their final quarters when they have 2-3 leaves.
Growing Instructions
Transplant when large enough to handle to 7.5cm (3in) pots or boxes and grow cool and well lit.
Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out 60x60cm (24x24in) apart in a rich, well-cultivated, moisture retentive soil.
Always plant firmly and keep the plants well watered, especially in dry weather after all risk of frost, 15cm (6in) apart in full sun and ordinary well-drained soil.
Harvest late summer/autumn.
Aftercare Instructions
To avoid the danger of Clubroot, grow your Brassicas in a different site each year so that they only occupy the same spot once every four years.
